Japan Earthquake Map - The japan quake measuring 8.9 occurred off the coast of northeastern Japan on Friday, the quake shook office buildings in Tokyo and also produces the all-powerful tsunami that swept cars and boats in northeast Japan. The quake was one of the world's fifth largest earthquake since 1900, according to the U.S. Geological Survey - occurred at 14:46 local time.
There are reports of many casualties in Tokyo many officers are trying to assess the damage, injuries and deaths from the quake, but no details.
